The third expedition supported
by Force Ten was Everest 2004, the Irvine Lovett
Everest Expedition, to commemorate Sandy Irvine, who died with George
Mallory on Everest's North Ridge in 1924, and Guy Lovett, who had
planned to climb Everest in memory of Sandy, but sadly died of cancer.
The Expedition gave people of different climbing levels, the opportunity
to experience Everest, and Force Ten supplyied
a selection of equipment including the classic Vortex tent,
Electron sleeping bags, Enduro rucsacs
and Spindrift tents, big sister to the Vortex.
The Spindrift is a specialist 3-person mountain
tent, ideal for expeditions where failure is not an option.
