The Force Ten
Vortex was used for Everest 04, A British Expedition which
saw brothers Andrew and Ian Prentice climb the North East Ridge
of Everest during the spring. The wind tunnel tested Vortex
was used at the highest points of the climb, and being able to withstand
wind speeds of up to 130km/h, it is guaranteed to provide protection
from the harsh environment. The Prentice brothers, both experienced
climbers, relied on a variety of Force Ten equipment.
The Force Ten HQ was set up at Base Camp and was
the ideal shelter to plan the ascent, whilst Force Ten
Electron sleeping bags insulated with down, are uncompromisingly
warm. In addition, the brothers used Force Ten Enduro
and Edge rucsacs, which are both hydration compatible
and boast lightweight yet sturdy designs.
